Stabbing investigation caused panic on a busy corner in Elmhurst

The NYPD reported a dispute started near the local mall on Queens Blvd resulted in a stabbing involving teens. The incident was reported on Wednesday around 2pm on the corner of Queens Blvd and Broadway in Elmhurst where bystanders ran for cover including those waiting at the bus stops.

EMS transported the victim, male, 14, to a local hospital who now remains in serious condition.

Detectives are conducting the investigation around the area.

So far no arrests.
