Stabbing investigation at the local high school in LIC

The NYPD reported a dispute turned into stabbing at a local high school in Long Island City. The incident was reported today at Long Island City High School in Astoria. EMS transported the victim, male, 16, to a local hospital.

Police confirmed two teens, also 16, attending the same school are in custody.

Charges are pending.

Police didn’t disclose details of what caused the incident.

The investigation continues
