Stabbing investigation at a local school in Jamaica

The NYPD is at the local school in Jamaica reporting a stabbing incident. This is on 161st Street and 89th Avenue.

EMS transported the stabbing victim to a local hospital.

Police have the suspect in custody.

This is not the first incident at the location.

Last March, a fight broke out with several students inside the cafeteria resulting in 3 transported to local hospitals with stabbing wounds and a knife was recovered.

The investigation continues.
