Sold and cleaned up the corner lot in Floral Park

The long standing min-farm on the corner of 82nd Avenue and 263rd Street in Floral Park has sold to a new buyer. The lot was listed at a cool $2.8 million along with the house last April.

According to the neighbors, the new buyers are in the process of filing a permit to build McMansions instead of keeping it as a farm scenery which was a fixture for the last 30 years. Long time neighbors are now waiting for the blueprint to be posted to see what the new residential building will look like.

The lot was sold on July 14 this year according to Zillow for $1.5 million. That's less than three months in the market.

This means a 1,500 square foot house could cost between $450,000 and $1.2 million, not including the cost of land.

How much profit can be recovered after all the deals are done?

Well, a local contractor says it all depends on the permits if building multiple separate housing units can do the wonder.
