Social media threat not credible after investigation in Seaford High School

The Nassau County Police Department is advising Seaford residents of an ongoing police investigation regarding a social media threat made to Seaford High School.

The Seventh Precinct Detectives Squad is investigating and police officers are at every Seaford school this morning as a precaution.

At this time the threat is not believed to be credible. Schools are deemed safe for staff and students to return.

Nassau County Police Department and Seaford School District will continue to work together as we investigate this social media threat.
