Snow plow trucks standing by for sleet and ice

Wintry weather is in effect all over northern part of New York and Pennsylvania with rain turning into ice maybe a possibility in the area. Sanitation department's snow trucks are standing by with salts ready to be applied on Hillside Avenue and Union Turnpike. The next few days will be rain and severe cold with temps in the 30's. The real winter has started earlier than anticipated.
