Skyline Diner in New Hyde Park closed after tax levy

The Skyline Diner on Union Turnpike and 271 Street in New Hyde Park has been closed by NYS Dept of Taxtation and Finance. According to workers, the diner owe back taxes and a levy has been placed with closure. The state has filed lien against the diner and allotted certain time frame to satisfy back taxes. Until back taxes are paid or lien sold to a new owner, the diner will remain closed.
