Six individuals arrested for burglary of a jewelry store in Woodbury

The #NassauCountyPD reports the arrest of six individuals for the Burglary of a Woodbury jewelry store on November 7th.

The arrests were made as part of a joint investigation between the NCPD, the FBI Westchester Safe Streets Task Force, the Westchester County Real Time Crime Center, multiple Westchester County law enforcement agencies, and the Greenburgh Police Department regarding members of a South American theft group that have been targeting jewelry stores along the East Coast.

All six defendants were in the United States illegally and ICE has been notified. As of this morning one defendant has been remanded, and five have been released with no bail – with two not reporting for their electronic monitor and three who reported but who have cut off their electronic monitors.
