Six Catholic schools will close in Brooklyn and Queens

The Diocese of Brooklyn issued a press statement today reporting 6 of their Catholic schools will close due to budget cuts. In Whitestone, there are 2, St Mel's and Holy Trinity. One in Howard Beach and another in South Ozone Park. The other two are in Brooklyn.
