Single vehicle crash in NHP resulting power outage

The NCPD were called to the intersection of Jericho Turnpike and Covert Avenue reporting a single vehicle crash. The crash struck a utility pole resulting power outage. It happened last night around 12:45am. EMS transported the driver to a local hospital. There were no other injuries. As of today morning, part of the area is closed off for investigation.
