Signage of JRP installed on the parkway in Queens

Today, NYC Dept of Transportation added signage on Jackie Robinson Parkway with image of himself styled after the 1954 iconic photo. It was 72 years ago today, he made his MLB debut for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Still, the parkway is always crowded and narrow when turning. Worse, too many vehicular accidents occurs now and then. DOT officials wouldn't comment on that.
