Shuttle replaced train for 7 riders

Police confirmed a person struck by train near Vernon Blvd-Jackson Avenue. 7 train service between Times Square and Hunters Point Avenue has shuttle service for commuters. The person is dead at the scene. It happened around 8:30am Manhattan bound. Witnesses reported the person jumped. Ongoing investigation.
