Shooting update in Baldwin

The NCPD is investigating an assault that occurred on March 30 around 10:45pm in Baldwin, Nassau County. Police responded to the intersection of Edna Court and Haig Street for a call for shots fired. Upon arrival officers located a 17-year-old a male with a gunshot wound to his torso. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment, where he is in stable condition. An investigation determined that two more victims were involved in this incident and were transported to a local hospital prior to police arrival. One victim, a 21-year -old male had a gunshot wound to his arm and is in stable condition. The second victim, a 20- year-old male had a gunshot wound to his abdomen and is currently in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing.
