Shark update for Long Island

Sharks are back.Today, Nassau County Executive Laura Curran announced that there is a shark sighting at Atlantic Beach. Nickerson Beach allows waist deep swimming only. Shark patrol is monitoring the area.
Now reporting the shark has been caught by local fishermen. Both East Atlantic Beach and Atlantic Beach Estates are redflagged.
