Serious assault with weapon reported in Bellerose

Police reported assault involving a weapon in Bellerose. It happened after 12:30am on Union Turnpike and 249 Street. Several witness stated the fight broke out from the local hookah lounge into the street. One suspect went into hiding in the yard of the apartments behind. There were no arrests. Ongoing investigation.
