Second span of Kosciuszko Bridge opens Thursday

The long awaited second span of Kosciuszko Bridge is scheduled to open on Thursday morning for vehicles. On Wednesday from 12pm to 6pm, the bridge will be open for pedestrians and bicyclists. There is now two bridges with five lanes for Queens bound and four lanes for Brooklyn. Each bridge has walkway for bicyclists and pedestrians.
