Second protest attempt failed in Flushing

Around 40 people wearing all blacks gathered on Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue while some waited on College Point Blvd around 6:30pm. Several witness were told they were there to protest under All Blacks Matter. As soon as they took out spray paints and other items from their backpacks, residents at the public housing, Bland alerted all their neighbors to gather. By 7pm, residents gathered around Sky View Mall and pushed the protesters to go home. Police arrived shortly and protesters walked toward the subway stations. Little by little they left. Several residents stated the mall is untouched and unharmed. Today, NYPD received a flyer of third protest attempt in Flushing but this time in front of The Town Hall on Northern Blvd near Main Street heading to Francis Lewis Park, the opposite direction from the last 2 attempts.
