Sears closing additional stores including K marts

On Thursday, January 4, Sears Holding reported more store closings nationwide. The one in Hicksville is scheduled to close end of January or depending on the liquidation which will starts January 12. Workers will get their severance packages. Back in 2015, Seritage Growth Properties proposed the Hicksville location for rental apartments and 200,000 square feet for retail and office space but not confirmed.
