School safety agent arrested in Astoria

An off-duty New York City employee Nervin Eltawabti, 37-year-old NYPD school safety agent, was taken into custody with charges of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and menacing in the third degree.
The employee was taken to the 114th Precinct around 10:30pm.
The NYPD has not commented on the arrest or given the exact details of incident on the arrest,
No injuries were reported and the investigation is continuing.
