Say the word Sasaki for Queensway

The NYC Mayor announced $35 million for phase one to design the Queensway, the new name to transform the vacant, city owned corridor in Forest Hills into a 5 acre park with 0.7 miles of greenway and park will be given to Sasaki, the architecture company. The project is estimated at $35 million including the construction of the Metropolitan Hub. The New York City Economic Development Corp will manage the construction of the Met Hub in collaboration with the New York City Dept of Parks. The funding includes $2.5 million from the city council. The Met Hub section is the first phase of QueensWay that will be changed from abandoned railroad corridor and vacant land to a 47 acre linear park.
