Sanitation issuing tickets for garbage on the public road

The agents working for the NYC Dept of Sanitation are issuing $100 fine for garbage on the public road within 18 inches.

Much to residents and businesses in NYC without alert, many took the complaints to the Mayor's office which was then forwarded to DSNY with no response.

One major upset is from halal vendors that are on the sidewalk on Hillside Avenue but the actual owner of the premise receives the violations for litter on the street.

An agent with DSNY stated all littler within 18 inches of the curb must be cleaned or face fine. The fine applies to all establishments whether its residential, business, religious or community centers.
