SSP eastbound closed due to jumper down

The NCPD closed off Southern State Parkway reporting a jumper down. This is by Roosevelt in Nassau County.

ESU is working to remove the jumper down after a witness called 911 of a male on the overpass. EMS is also on the scene.

Another witness said the victim was struck by incoming vehicle.

Heavy delays in both directions.

Avoid the route for now.
