Rush hour assaults has police advising all to avoid the time in Bellerose

Police reported misdemeanor assaults on regular basis from 3 to 5pm on Union Turnpike between Commonwealth Blvd and 248 Street on the west bound side. Residents stated they are advised to stay indoors or avoid the path during those hours after being told by authorities. Several residents of the coop has their properties vandalized on the same side. So far no arrests and police drive around the route also on regular basis.
