Runaway closure at JFK has different flight paths

With more repairs at JFK airport and runaway closures, different flights paths are changed frequently. At night time, the flight paths pass by Glen Oaks, Bellerose and Queens Village to JFK. Regardless of residents complaints, local politicians are looking into the matter. The same flight paths are also affecting Nassau County residents. About 300 flights are scheduled to change paths for landings and take-offs at JFK. The Port Authority has not reported when the flights will be on normal route as before.
