Run and get a free donut at Flushing park

Mmmmm, yummmy yummmmm!

Turkey Trots is back this year at Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The event is a 5K run for all and will be on Saturday, November 27 at 8:30am. Beside the 5K there will be a half marathon. The fee to register is $45 for adults, $10 for ages 8 to 11. All kids under 8 can run for free. If you do finish the line and want a medal, it will cost you $5 but you will get a free donut. If you can’t run, walking is fine but all have one hour and 20 minutes to finish the race. For the half marathon which is 13.1 miles, three hours and 30 minutes is the time. Open to the public.
