Roosevelt Avenue stretch is left and right for real estate market

Bye bye long timers. Hello newcomers.

Now the hottest valuable commodity is the Roosevelt Avenue stretch from Flushing to Jackson Heights where previous owners are selling their locations for twice more than the bargain.

Bird watchers hired by real estate companies are making nice smiles with greetings to home owners saying you will become a millionaire by selling your property. Oh how nice.

The location is the heartbeat for immigration, policing, religion, lgbtq rights, community organizing, the world cup, real estate capital, local governance, and taxi drivers except gentrification which is now the main target. According to the NYC Dept of Building, the most applications for zone change are from this area.

The first one approved for the vicinity was 71-17 Roosevelt Avenue completed six years ago from the pic.

With the casino all set, the staff at the building dept is overloaded with applications from developers as part of the affordable housing plan all local elected officials support.

The rent is expected to be over $3,000 a month, easily called the new affordable. Right now the elected officials are gathering a flock of tenants to protest on old buildings with so many violations to sell to build new ones to keep up with the real estate market.
