Roosevelt Avenue has residents remain in fear from Corona to Woodside

Police reported over the weekend, more than 40 people were targeted for thefts from phones to wallets. Three people were stabbed and slashed. One person shot on Sunday morning by 103rd Street around 5:30am while another had a grazed wound from bullets. Local residents complained to police of drug activities since the beginning of the year. Many are walking in groups from being targeted. Several people stated thieves are usually at the wire money vicinity since this is where they send money to their families in other countries. Local groups asked for police to mount but so far no updates were available.
