Robbery investigation in Syosset

Police are at the local retailer store on Jericho Turnpike reporting a robbery. This is at the local Home Depot where a customer while waiting for the cashier had cash visible waiting on the line.

The suspect, female, black, took off on foot southbound.

EMS treated the victim on the scene who was emotionally shaken.

Police are advising locals not to display cash or cards while waiting on the line as this is now a frequent incident.
