Robbery at 7 Eleven in Levittown

The Eighth Squad reports the arrest of a Levittown man that occurred on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 12:54 PM in Levittown for a Robbery. According to Detectives, on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 10:42 AM, defendant Christopher Meyer, 50, of 19 Tanager Lane, did walk into a 7/11 store located at 151 Jerusalem Avenue where he picked up two large boxes of beer and walked out of the store without attempting to pay for them. A male employee followed defendant Christopher Meyer outside the store and attempted to stop him, the defendant pulled out a knife and held it in the direction of the victim in a threatening manner and continued to walk northbound on Jerusalem Avenue. Police were called to the scene and after conducting an investigation were able to locate the defendant at his home where he was placed under arrest. No injuries reported at scene. The Defendant was transported to a nearby hospital for assessment and treatment. Defendant Christopher Meyer is charged with Robbery 1st degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree and Resisting Arrest. He will be arraigned when medically practical.
