Robberies stretch from Glen Oaks to Bellerose at the highest

The NYPD reported the highest robberies from Glen Oaks to Bellerose targeting victims from jewelry to delivery app drivers.

Despite being warned of thieves targeting victims of fake jewelry to real one switch while approaching, the same incidents continue to increase in the area. The next crime is targeting delivery drivers via app on Union Turnpike and Hillside Avenue.

Meanwhile, the Glen Oaks public library continues to report harassment and assaults having police arriving on a constant basis has residents complaining for a solution. The enrollment at the library for various programs have been reduced after locals decided to stay home. Police say senior citizens once known to walk around the area for a coffee or shop locally in Glen Oaks have changed their routines for safety.
