Robberies continue to spike inside the subways

Police reported 14 people were robbed today in Queens alone. The average number is 12.

This morning three people were robbed inside the Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike station during morning rush hour. One of the suspects is male, black wearing a gray shirt, gray shorts with a brown backpack. NYPD released pictures from witnesses.

On August 10, a victim was robbed of cash while waiting for a 7-train platform at the 74th Street-Roosevelt Avenue station in Jackson Heights by multiple suspects of males and a female. The victim lost consciousness and suffered a fractured orbital. The NYPD released the surveillance pictures.
