Road rage on the LIE with one slashed in Long Island

Police reported a road rage incident with one slashed in the passenger’s throat in Long Island. The incident was reported in Farmingville last night around 10:15pm.

Police reported a woman was driving a BMW on the LIE westbound by Exit 63 with two passengers when another driver going in the same direction caused a commotion pending details. Then both vehicles exited at 63. During a stopped light, the suspect got out of the vehicle to open the door of the BMW which was locked. Then opened the back door where the male passenger was and a struggle ensued. This is when the victim was slashed by the throat causing a four inch laceration. The woman drove through a red light to escape the assault and went to the nearest urgent care. The suspect took off. Police are investigating the incident. So far no arrests.
