Riders facing constant muggings on the train route

Local residents heading home on the LIRR have alerted police of constant muggings targeting lone walkers, especially females from NYC. The latest incident was reported at the East Willison station and before that, Floral Park.

From the police statement, the suspects enter at one station and get off at the next one to avoid tickets.

Between Bellerose and Queens Village stations reported larcenies after personal items went missing.

On Tuesday, a suspect, male, 18, was arrested after a witness pointed out during the incident before Garden City station.

Police are searching for more suspects involved in the criminal operation in the area.

Many victims didn't want to come forth.
