Ribbon cutting ceremony awaiting in Glen Oaks

The Glen Oaks public park is all done and the local residents are now waiting for more people to show up. However, the local politicians are all busy at 73rd Avenue by Francis Lewis Blvd where the ribbon cutting ceremony is just done. This is a 2 miles of bike lanes with new left turn lanes, markings and high visible crosswalks that are designed to keep the street organized.

Why is 73rd Avenue important?

73rd Ave provides the most direct connection between Cunningham Park and Alley Pond Park, and has grown more popular with cyclists as a route to reach the Eastern Queens Greenway.

Back to the Glen Oaks public park at 260th Street and 75th Avenue where all are waiting for the next ribbon cutting with the newly renovated funded by taxpayers. A new outdoor gym is all set to unveil today for all to try. If you are in the area, stop by and be part of the photo op with local politicians to brag with your peers for the motto, Hey look, it's me and the councilmember!
