Report of credible threat of violence and looting by the border

Yesterday NYPD, NCPD and SCPD received credible threat of violence and looting against homes and businesses in the area and surrounding area. Police reported of more than 100 stolen vans with out of state license plates made way into NYC and Long Island. Around 20 were tracked down with multiple arrests. Police found bricks and other items inside the vans. A van was tracked on Northern Blvd and Community Drive by police in the Macy's parking lot. The driver refused to stop and chase stared toward westbound Northern Blvd until the van struck multiple vehicles in Douglaston and all took off toward different direction. Cross Island Parkway by LIE was all blocked when two vans reported stolen was search by both NYPD and NCPD joined later. One van took off toward Jericho Turnpike where serious assault took place after abandoned in Floral Park. Two more assaults reported in Franklin Square. As of last night, police are targeting vehicles with out of state for further investigation. Police are advising residents to call 911 immediately if boxes are placed on the sidewalk in the area which may contain bricks and rocks. More than 30 location of that was tracked down after neighbors called 911. NYPD confirmed of a group of people try to blend in with protesters or act as protesters to incite violence and looting targeting store areas. Chopper was hovering in most areas of Long Island and Queens border after reports of protests.
This is from the NYPD Commissioner, ?Pre-staged bricks are being placed and then transported to ?peaceful protests,? which are peaceful protests, but then used by that criminal group within,". NYPD confirmed they have gathered evidence.
