Recreation vehicles are sprouting in NYC

According to Department of Motor Vehicles, there are 589 RVs registered to NYC residents in 2012. That number is now double due to more and more residents decided to live in RVs rather than apartments. Motor vehicles classifies the RV as house on wheels and whether its legal or illegal in the city is a mystery. The city's Law Department that oversees all legal rules and regulations stated there is no law preventing anyone from living inside RV as long as its following the parking regulations like regular autos and suvs. However if more and more RVs presence is in NYC, some local politicians may consider a new law.
