Rape crime vicinity released in NYC

The NYPD released data of which precincts reported rape, now the highest crime in NYC with heavy investigation.

Of 880 rapes in NYC this year from January 1 to July 14 compared to 796 for the entire year of 2023, the 105th Precinct reported 17 incidents this year so far.

Bellerose has spiked this year for the first time with the highest number of rape incidents.

The 75th Precinct tops with 46, followed by 42nd, 52nd, 41st, 110th, 115th, 103, Midtown South, 49th, 105th, 71st, 72nd, 101st and 101.

For Queens, Roosevelt Avenue vicinity tops with 22 victims.

Combining 115 and 110 Precincts in Elmhurst and Jackson Heights, that's a total of 36 victims.

However, the NYPD didn't release the details if most of the incidents involving migrants since the top 10 are located within those vicinities.
