RIP styrofoam in NYC

On Friday, June 8 late afternoon, after lengthy court trial, the judge presiding the case has reached a decision of styrofoam ban in NYC. Mayor di Blasio forwarded the judge's decision to the staff to implement the order as of tonight and the law will be effective immediately all over NYC. NYC Dept of Health will issue fines to any eatery including food cart vendors if continued use of styrofoam starting Monday if the law is implemented by then.
