Queens residents busted for forged parking placards

Do not use Offerup.com promotion of having parking tickets dismissed as 8 people including four from Queens were hauled into jail for forged parking placards. The Manhattan DA's office reported eight people were allegedly using forged parking placards to dispute parking tickets with the Dept of Finance in an effort to have the tickets dismissed. The investigation began after Dept of Investigation received a referral from the Dept of Transportation.
