Queens cops seek suspect behind deadly stabbing at street corner

Detectives in Queens are looking for the suspect who stabbed a man to death on Saturday night.

Police said the homicide happened at about 7:42 p.m. on May 10 near the corner of 34th Avenue and 96th Street in Corona.

Officers from the 115th Precinct found the victim, a 32-year-old man, who had been stabbed multiple times in the body. Cops initially responded to the location after receiving a 911 call about an assault in progress.

The motive for the stabbing remains unknown, police sources said Sunday.

No arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation. Law enforcement sources said they are looking for a male suspect who was last seen fleeing the location while wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and carrying a brown bookbag.
