Queens Village - Allejo Walthers, 19 of Queens Village was arrested on Thursday around 3am in Brookville. Police were called to the location after reporting of someone stealing mails from mailboxes. Walthers was placed in custody for allegedly mail fishing by NYPD. Mail fishing is the new wave of crime where a show laces coated with glue dropped down in the mail chute and take items out. Walthers has been charged with larceny, possession of forged instruments and other violations. pic courtesy of NYPD. Reported 9am.
