Queens Uber driver busted for kidnapping terrorizing and sexual harassment

Police arrested Harbir Parmar, 24 of Howard Beach on Tuesday, October 16 and charged with kidnapping, sexual harassment and other violations of a female victim. The incident happened on February 21 when Parmar picked up a female passenger around 11:30pm in Manhattan from Uber app and was supposed to drop her off to White Plains.

During the ride, the victim fell asleep in the vehicle, Toyota Highlander, 2016 model and Parmar changed the address to a location in Boston. The victim stated to police when she woke up, Parmar was in the backseat fondling her breast. When the victim pushed away, Parmar moved to the front seat and started driving. Then dropped off the victim on middle of the road on I-95 in Connecticut. Then the victim alerted police and gave the plate number.

Further investigation reported of Parmar changing directions of other drivers from Uber app between December 2016 and February 2018. More than 10 times directions were changed. He was released with court date. As of today, he can no longer drive any cabs.
