Queens Symphony Orchestra at St John s University

Tuesday, July 23 a 7pm. It will be at the Great Lawn and advise all to bring chairs. This concert is entitled "Dances that Move the World" and features Dvorák's Slavonic dances, the tangos and sambas of South America and popular Chinese tunes. Open to the public.
A bit of history. Queens Symphony Orchestra was started in 1953 by Queens Borough President Melinda Katz's father, David Katz. Check the link for other concerts in Queens.
