Queens DA s race result will be announced next week

The race for Queens DA's position is a close call between Tiffany Caban, the Left Wing and Melinda Katz, Right Wing, both of Democrat party. Queens has population of 2.4 millions which is larger than 15 US states. Caban holds a lead by 1090 while 3,400 are yet to be counted which will be done next week to announce the winner. Caban only won six districts, Woodside , Astoria, Long Island City, Ridgewood, Jackson Heights and Corona while Katz won the rest of Queens. The highest turnout of voters are from Astoria that gave Caban the boost. Caban claims the victory but Katz has not conceded.
