Pursuit in Plattsburgh leads to an arrest

On May 20, 2025, State Police members arrested Tiffany M. Terry, age 28, of Westport, NY, for resisting arrest and unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle 3rd.

On May 20, 2025, at approximately 11:37 a.m., Troopers observed a 2017 tan Subaru Legacy Outback traveling on Broad Street in the city of Plattsburgh, violating a vehicle and traffic law. As a Trooper approached the vehicle, the female driver began yelling and refused to cooperate, prompting her to drive away. The Trooper returned to their patrol car, and a pursuit ensued.

As the female operator failed to comply, she struck a curb on South Catherine Street in the city of Plattsburgh, which led her to stop the vehicle on George Street. When Troopers and officers from the City of Plattsburgh Police Department approached her, she continued to refuse commands. Eventually, she was taken into custody.

The female operator was identified as Tiffany M. Terry, age 28, of Westport, NY. She was arrested and transported to SP Plattsburgh for processing.  She was released on appearance tickets returnable to the City of Plattsburgh Court for a later date in June.
