Protests in local areas

Police are reporting large group of protests on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow. The march continues in the vicinity of the jail. Hempsteaad Turnpike is shut down in the area.
Southern State Parkway in Brentwood is also shut down. There is a large group of protesters in Queens Village. This is on 207 Street and 116 Avenue in front of the school.
There is a protest at Highland Park, border of Queens and Brooklyn marching toward Brooklyn.
