Protest for Queens and Long Island for Tuesday announced

For Queens, after more than 20 robberies and assaults in Fresh Meadows, a group is having protest in front of Wyndham Garden Hotel at 186 Street where people released from Rikers Island are housed.
For Long Island, BLM announced three dates.
August 4 in Oceanside at 5pm in front of Chipotle on Long Beach Road.
August 5 in Franklin Square at 5pm in front of Wendy's on Hempstead Turnpike.
August 7 at 5pm in front of Hempstead Town Hall.
Drivers are advised to use alternate traffic.
