Protest at Alley Pond Environmental on Northern Blvd

Local politician NYS State Senate Tony Avella at first was denied entrance to inside Alley Pond Environmental Center on Northern Blvd and Cross Island Parkway to have press conference regarding bike lanes on Northern Blvd. Now he is setting up outside the parking lot with protesters. Avella is against the bike lanes on Northern Blvd. Another group of counter protesters are also staging against Avella. Media is reporting on the scene outside Alley Pond Park on Northern Blvd. Moments later, Avella was allowed if the counter protesters are denied entry. Shortly, Avella was told to leave again and arguments erupted outside. Its getting out of hand.
