Property crime continue to increase in Queens

The NYPD reported property crimes continue to increase in NYC mainly in Queens. For Queens, Bayside continues to report burglaries now reaching the top spot followed by Little Neck and then Bellerose. The next one is vehicle thefts and its accessories from wheels to bumpers which is now demanding.

Police say thieves mainly target apartment areas for wheel thefts due to less cameras presence.

This week, Windsor Park reported multiple wheel thefts from the picture and the NYPD is actively investigating the crime pattern.

After Windsor Park, the next location for wheel theft is Glen Oaks followed by Douglaston.

Despite the hard work of NYPD preaching safety measures, some residents say it's the same perps that's often seen in the area committing the crimes.

NYC residents are gearing up for the next mayoral election and crime is the number one topic followed by housing and then the migrant crisis.
