Prisoner escaped in Nassau County

The NCPD reported a prisoner escaped from the Nassau County prison. This is at juvenile detention center in Westbury. It happened around 1:30pm. Heavy task force on the search for the suspect. Old Country Road is delayed for traffic due to search.

Reported the suspect stole a vehicle from the Westbury car dealership and took off with a 2018 black Infinity Q50 with no plates.

Chopper and K9 are also searching.
